fnatic have beaten Luminosity 16-12 on Cobblestone in the Group A opening match at the ECS Season 4 Finals. The first match in Cancun, Mexico was between fnatic and Luminosity. The best-of-one game was on Cobblestone where the Swedes started on the CT-side. Jonas "Lekr0" Olofsson's triple kill in the first weapon round gave fnatic a 1-0 lead but Gustavo "SHOOWTiME" Gonçalves responded with a 1vs2 clutch in the second round to the game at 1-1. Luminosity couldn't string together more than two rounds and lost the first half 10-5. Luminosity won the second half pistol round but fnatic won the following round, extending their lead to 11-6. After fnatic made it 13-6, Luminosity had another buy round and won it thanks to Gabriel "NEKIZ" Schenato's two opening kills (13-7). fnatic then won two rounds to earn eight match points.
