We talked to Na`Vi player and ESL One New York MVP Aleksandr 's1mple' Kostyliev after his team defeated Virtus.pro to win the $250,000 event. Natus Vincere triumphed in a three map thriller at ESL One New York over Virtus.pro and the team suddenly found themselves winners for the first time ever of a $250,000 event. The victory also marked a first substantial title for the team's star Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev and his performance throughout the event earned him our official MVP award. We caught up with s1mple as the venue was closing down to hear the affable 19-year-old Ukrainian speak on the grand final, on his occasional calling during the grand final, and on his maturation as a player over time. You will be able to find all of our interviews from ESL One New York on our YouTube channel here. stich writes for HLTV.org and can be found on Twitter ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
